The 2025 Maternal Health and Healthy Lifestyles grant opportunity will provide up to $30 million for research that:
- improves the prevention and management of perinatal mental ill-health
- improves healthy development in early childhood to support a strong start to life
- promotes healthy lifestyle and preventive health approaches to reduce health risks in adolescents, young adults and middle-aged people.
Funding is from the MRFF's Preventive and Public Health Research initiative.
Guidelines are available for the 2025 Research Data Infrastructure grant opportunity. Up to $20 million will be available for projects that address areas of unmet medical need by using different types of existing research data infrastructure.
Applications open on 14 August 2025.
