After a fantastic summer season, the outdoor pool of the JM Robson Aquatic Centre will close for the winter season at close of business on Sunday 3 April 2022.
This swimming season has been characterised by the disruption of Covid and unprecedented rain. However, in the face of these challenges, the facility has still had one of its busiest seasons and Council sincerely thanks the community for their interest and enthusiasm. With disappointment, it now comes time to close the outdoor facility for the winter season commencing Monday the 4 of April 2022.
Mayor, Maree Statham said, "The staff and management of the Aquatic Centre thank everyone for their patronage during the summer season. They will be continuing to run regular programs over the winter season and look forward to your continued support throughout the year."
