75th Australian Jazz Convention hits Albury from 26-31 December 2020

This year, the Australian Jazz Convention celebrates its 75th annual convention, showcasing 75 years of Australian Jazz. Live Jazz is celebrated through performances and special events from Boxing Day to New Year's Eve.

For three quarters of a century, the Australian Jazz Convention has continued to unite Jazz musicians and enthusiasts from all over the country together with many from overseas. For this year's 2020 convention, the city of Albury, New South Wales, will be playing host for the second year running.

Starting in Melbourne in 1946, the Australian Jazz Convention has ventured into every state across Australia, supporting both major and regional cities during its annual, week-long convention.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Convention's Executive Task Force has assured patrons that they will be taking all necessary government and health directives into consideration for the 2020 program. As stated by Executive Task Force President, Chris Gildersleeve, "(the Australian Jazz Convention) understands that many Conventioneers may fall into what has been identified as a high-risk group." Therefore, this year's Convention will certainly be taking this into account to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for all Conventioneers.

Calling all dedicated Jazz enthusiasts: registrations are now open! Visit the official website of the Australian Jazz Convention to register today or select your ticket at the trybooking website.
