Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate 83-year-old John Leech after he failed to return from a morning walk today (September 13), Queensland Police say.
It is believed that John left a Holland Park West residence around 10am intent on travelling to a table tennis event being held at a venue in Green Terrace, Windsor.
It is unknown whether John attended the event.
Concerns are held for John’s safety and wellbeing as he suffers from a medical condition and can become disorientated.
He is known to use public transport, in particular buses, but also enjoys walking.
John is described as Caucasian, approximately 152cms tall with a medium build and white hair. He was last seen in Dunrod Street, Holland Park West this morning and was wearing dark grey knee length shorts, a white polo shirt, light blue jumper and white sneakers.
