Aboriginal Tourism Grants To Build On Cultural Tourism Assets

The Northern Territory's reputation as a leader in Aboriginal cultural tourism is on track for a boost as round three of the Aboriginal Tourism Grant program opens today.

Round three of the grant program is targeted to assist Aboriginal owned and operated tourism businesses in the Territory with a funding pool of $200,000 available to reinvigorate existing tourism experiences and develop new products.

Businesses can apply for one-off funding of up to $20,000 to support small infrastructure upgrades, business development, feasibility or mater plans and other projects including new signage.

All projects must be complete by April 1, 2022.

The Aboriginal Tourism Grant program is a key component of the Northern Territory Aboriginal Tourism Strategy 2020-2030.

Applications close October 13 2021 at 4pm.
