Accolades keep coming for Logan City Council

Logan City Council has won a fourth consecutive gold award for its Annual Reports.

Council competed against 182 organisations from Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia and Hong Kong at the 2019 Australasian Reporting Awards in Melbourne last month.

Council's Annual Report 2017/18 won coveted gold award status which ensured the standard of the publication remained at the highest level after gold award wins for the three previous annual reports.

A gold award recognises overall excellence in annual reporting across world-best practice criteria including full disclosure of key aspects of the core business and outstanding coverage of major areas of operation.

A report that achieves a gold award is considered of such a high standard as to be a benchmark for other organisations.

The 2018/2019 Annual Report is currently being compiled and is scheduled to be adopted by the end of September.
