The Borough of Queenscliffe announces that Council has appointed the preferred applicant to the position of Acting Chief Executive Officer for an approximate minimum period of 3 months, commencing 1 December 2025 through to 28 February 2026.
At the Special Meeting of Council held on Monday 17 November 2025, the Borough of Queenscliffe Council resolved to appoint Michael Tudball to the position of Acting Chief Executive Officer.
Michael was selected from a pool of candidates following a recruitment process. Bringing with him extensive skills, knowledge, and experience that are essential to the role, he was the preferred candidate.
"Council is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Tudball to the Borough of Queenscliffe in an interim capacity until a new Chief Executive Officer is formally appointed," stated Mayor Di Rule. "Following a selection process conducted by Council's CEO Recruitment Advisory Committee, we are confident that Michael is exceptionally qualified for this role. With a strong professional reputation and proven expertise, he possesses the experience and commitment required to guide the Borough effectively through this transitional period."
