Today, Acting Secretary of Defense Christopher Miller spoke on the phone with Indonesian Minister of Defense Prabowo Subianto to offer condolences for the January 9 commercial plane crash in Indonesia.
The Secretary offered Indonesia any support it might need and expressed confidence in the Indonesian government's ability to manage the situation.
Both leaders offered sympathies for the victims of the crash and their families.
