The City of Melbourne undertakes annual inspections of trees in high-use locations such as boulevards and parks including Royal Parade, St Kilda Road, Victoria Parade, and Fitzroy Gardens and Carlton Gardens.
All other trees are inspected on a biennial basis at a minimum. This frequency of inspections is above current industry best practice.
