Adjustment to SA road fatalities - Mawson Lakes

The State's fatal road crash count has been revised.

Just before 2.30am on Friday 12 June, police and emergency services crews were called to Port Wakefield Road just north of the Salisbury Highway overpass, after a pedestrian was struck by truck travelling south. Sadly, the pedestrian, a 57-year-old man from Old Reynella died at the scene.

The death of the man has been determined to be due to other issues and has been removed from the state's road fatalities.

Lives lost on SA roads is now 58 compared to 69 for the same time last year.
