Affray chargesin Brisbane

Detectives from Taskforce Maxima have arrested two men following investigations into an act of public violence at a Brisbane restaurant in late December.

During the early hours of Sunday, December 20, it will be alleged the 32-year-old and 36-year-old approached two men as they waited for a lift inside the Ann Street licensed premises.

After a brief conversation the men attacked, repeatedly punching and kicking the pair unconscious before fleeing.

Yesterday, detectives executed search warrants on properties at Forest Lake and Morningside where the 32-year- old secretary of the Brisbane Comancheros Outlaw Motorcycle Club (OMCG) and a Comanchero associate were arrested.

The pair have each been charged with affray and are expected to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on March 19.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or has information, who may not have come forward yet, to contact police.
