Aggravated robbery at Pt Lincoln, South Australia

Police are looking for a suspect involved in an aggravated robbery at Port Lincoln this morning.

Just after 7am on Friday 10 April, a man armed with an iron bar entered a deli on Shepherd Avenue and assaulted a female staff member. The suspect left on foot after stealing the woman’s handbag.

The woman sustained a cut to the head and was taken to the Port Lincoln Hospital for treatment. Her injuries are not considered life-threatening.

The suspect is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his late teens and was wearing a long sleeve grey top, shorts, Nike trainers and had cloth covering his face.

Investigations are continuing.
