Aggravated Robbery In Alice Springs 6 February

The Northern Territory Police Force is investigating an aggravated robbery that occurred earlier today in Alice Springs.

Around 10:50am, police received a report that a 21-year-old female had been robbed in the Alice Springs CBD.

It is alleged around 9:30am, the victim was approached on foot by a male outside of a church near the intersection of Hartley Street and Wills Terrace. The male allegedly threatened her with an edged weapon and stole her credit card before fleeing the scene.

The victim was uninjured, and Strike Force Viper has carriage of the investigation.
