Aggravated robbery Salisbury Downs, SA

Police are investigating an aggravated robbery at a Salisbury Downs service station last night, according to SA Police.

About 11pm on Sunday 11 August a man armed with a knife entered the On The Run service station on Salisbury Highway and threatened staff.

The man stole cash and cigarettes before running off with a second man, who was believed to be keeping a look out outside the store.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

Patrols cordoned off the area while dog operations officers and PD Ice tracked the suspects through back streets to Amsterdam Crescent where the track was lost.

The armed man was described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 16 years, wearing a hat and black hooded top with white writing on the front.

The second man was described as being of Caucasian appearance with short light coloured hair, wearing black and white Nike sneakers, dark coloured pants and a blue hooded top with white writing on the front.
