The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Victoria will be holding a prayer service on Sunday 17th March 2019 at Baitul Salam Mosque, Langwarrin, for victims of the terrorist attack in Christchurch, New Zealand. The service will commence at 1.30pm. We appreciate and are grateful for the support and love shown to us by the Australian people. We should stand together in these difficult times and stay united. The Mosque will also be open for members of the public and media, from 10.00am to 4.00pm, to visit and join us in solidarity. Refreshments will be served.

President of the Langwarrin Chapter of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Victoria, Mr Osama Ahmed, said:

"It is with great regret and sadness that 49 people have been killed and at least 20 wounded in the shootings in Christchurch in New Zealand. We are horrified by this serious attack. No part of the world is safe from extremism. We offer our deepest sympathies to all those affected by this tragedy. Please join us for a prayer service for the victims and families of those deceased. May God rest their souls in peace. May God grant solace to the families of the deceased. May God grant speedy recovery to those who have been injured. Amen."
