The Albanese Labor Government is continuing to back innovation in agriculture with a $450,000 funding boost helping support AgriFutures' evokeAG which kicks off today in Melbourne.
This funding will support evokeAG over the next three years and is part of the Government's $23.8 million Showcasing Australian Agriculture - Regional Trade Events program.
About 2,000 innovators, producers and leaders will attend evokeAG at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on 17-18 February 2026.
The event, hosted by AgriFutures Australia, provides opportunities for collaboration and knowledge sharing among farmers and producers, start-ups, researchers, policy makers, investors and business leaders.
This year's edition will focus on three key threads: information and future technology, environment and sustainability, and system and policy.
Attendees will explore topics relating to how technology, the environment and agriculture intersect both now and into the future.
AgriFutures Australia is one of the 15 rural research and development corporations that service the research, development and extension needs of Australia's agriculture, fisheries and forestry industries.
