Allens advises on Western Sydney International Airport Terminal deal

Allens has advised Multiplex on its successful bid to deliver the passenger terminal for the $5.3 billion Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport.

The first stage of the new Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport is a foundation stone for the development of Western Parklands City. Set to open in late 2026, the airport will support up to 10 million passengers per year as well as freight.

Partner David Donnelly, who led the Allens team, said it was particularly pleasing to be partnering with Multiplex on another critical piece of public infrastructure so soon after the successful close of the New Footscray Hospital Project.

Mr Donnelly added that the procurement process was robust considering the number of interfaces and technical requirements involved.

'We congratulate the Western Sydney Airport team on their progress to date, and are thrilled to support the development of this critical infrastructure for Western Sydney,' he said.
