Alternative medicine therapist charged with indecent assault in Annandale

A man from Sydney has been charged with the alleged indecent assault of three clients in Sydney’s inner west, NSW Police say.

Officers from Leichhardt Local Area Command commenced investigations in 2014, when three women told police they were touched inappropriately during treatments at an alternate medicine business on Parramatta Road, Annandale.

The incidents are alleged to have occurred between 2011 and 2014.

On Wednesday 21 September 2016, police issued a future court attendance notice to a 54-year-old man for three counts of indecent assault.

He is expected to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on Friday 4 November 2016.

Investigations are continuing.

Meanwhile, police encourage any person who has been the victim of sexual or indecent assault to report the matter to police, no matter how long ago the incident occurred.

Reports can be made at any police station.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
