Ambassadors for Peace recognised

Yesterday in an intimate ceremony at Police Headquarters the Universal Peace Federation recognised four members of the Queensland Police Service (QPS) as Ambassadors for Peace.

Police Liaison Officer Purdy Huang of Upper Mount Gravatt Station, Torres Straight Island Police Support Officer Ned Mosby, Police Liason Officer Shelton Murphy of Fortitude Valley Station and Administration Officer – Sabrina Rabbani were all recognised.

These QPS members have been identified as understanding and supporting the key concepts of the Universal Peace Federation and were provided with a commemorative certificate and a badge to wear.

The ceremony was attended by the Commissioner of Police Ian Stewart, Assistant Commissioner Gee, Acting Superintendent Jory, Acting Inspector Piket and members of the Universal Peace Federation.
