Angel returned

Angel the five-year-old Shih Tzu has been returned to her owner after being stolen on 5 November, however the offender is still at large.

The dog was secured to a pole outside a restaurant on Bourke Street, Docklands when a man removed her leash and stole her about 8.30pm.

Melbourne West police have released CCTV and images of a man who may be able to assist with their enquiries.

The man is perceived to be Indian subcontinental in appearance with black curly hair and a black beard.

He was wearing a bandanna as a headband and a black long sleeve polo top with a white stripe on the collar over a white shirt and light jeans with large horizontal rips across the knees and sneakers.

He was last seen walking south along Bourke Street Waterfront carrying Angel.

Angel was returned to her owner on Friday 11 November about 7pm by a 3rd party.

Police continue to make enquires into the theft.
