Annual Exhibition Opportunities Open At Hume

Sunbury Gallery

Hume City Council is inviting artists and community groups to apply for the Hume Galleries Annual Exhibition Program, supporting creative practice and cultural connection across Hume City.

The Annual Exhibition Program provides opportunities for local artists to exhibit their work in a professional gallery setting while connecting with the broader Hume community.

We're encouraging all Hume‑based artists to apply in a show of commitment to our ongoing support of creative expression, inclusion and participation through the exhibition program.

This year's program has a particular focus on first‑time exhibitors, with selected artists also having access to professional development opportunities, including workshops designed to build skills and confidence.

Artists from outside Hume are also welcome to apply if they can demonstrate a strong connection to the local community or propose projects that actively involve local people in shaping the cultural life of Hume.

We're also calling on applications from under‑represented communities, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, LGBTIQA+ communities, young people, people with disabilities, and culturally diverse communities.

Hume City Council's Annual Exhibition Program offers artists the chance to make their mark, share their creative voice, and connect with other artists and audiences across Hume City.

Applications for the program are now open and close 5pm Monday 23 March.
