This is a classic example of Tasmania's great tourism success story, giving people the chance to enjoy our unrivalled natural environment on the spectacular East Coast.
It's also a demonstration of the confidence in our visitor economy, where more businesses are now expanding and employing more Tasmanians right across the State.
This development is needed on the Freycinet Peninsula, which is one of our iconic tourist destinations, and a place my Government is investing in to protect it for future generations to enjoy.
I again congratulate Pennicott Wilderness Journeys for their great commitment to the Tasmanian visitor economy, which my Government remains the strongest supporter of, because it supports so many businesses and local jobs across our State.
