Police from Leichhardt Local Area Command are appealing for public information about a fail-to-stop crash at Leichhardt over the weekend, NSW Police say.
Shortly before 1.30am (Sunday 17 December 2017), a Kia Rio and a Mazda 3 were parked on the southern kerb on Allen Street, Leichhardt, when a semi-trailer travelling west hit the rear of the Kia Rio, causing extensive damage.
The Kia Rio has then crashed into the Mazda.
The driver of the semi-trailer failed to stop and was last seen travelling west along Allen Street.
No one was injured.
Police are now searching for the driver and vehicle involved in the incident.
Anyone who may have witnessed the crash, has dash-cam footage or has information about the driver or vehicle involved, is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
