Appeal after man commits act of indecency in front of girl at Callala Bay

Police are appealing for public assistance after a man indecently exposed himself to a girl in the Shoalhaven region.

About 11.40am today (Monday 30 December 2019), an 11-year-old girl was paddle boarding in Bicentennial Park at Callala Bay when she paddled past a man who was sitting near the creek bed.

Police have been told that the man indecently exposed himself to the girl before committing an act of indecency in front of her.

The girl raced down the creek to tell her mother and notified officers from South Coast Police District, who have commenced an investigation.

As part of their inquiries, police wish to speak with a man who may be able to assist with the investigation.

He has been described as of Caucasian appearance, between 175-180cm tall, between 75-85kg, with grey to white hair, and aged in his 60s.

He was last seen travelling on black Harley Davidson Cruiser motorcycle.

Any witnesses or anyone who has seen this man is urged to come forward.
