Appeal after mural defaced - Erskineville

Police are appealing for public assistance after a newly commissioned mural in Sydney's inner-west was defaced last night.

Between 8.55pm and 10.40pm (Monday 8 February 2021), a man defaced the mural at Erskineville railway station, by spray painting writing across it.

As inquiries continue, police have released CCTV of a man who they believe may be able to assist.

The man depicted is described as being aged in his early 20's. He is shown wearing a black hooded jumper and face mask covering his head and face, tradesman style work pants and light-coloured work boots.
