Appeal after robbery - Murray River

Police are appealing for information following a robbery at a service station in the state's south late month.

About 2.15am on Saturday 18 February 2023, two males forced their way into a service station on Diamond Avenue, Thurgoona, and stole items from the store, including cigarette lighters and cans of drink.

The pair then fled on foot in a westerly direction.

No customers or staff were inside the service station at the time.

Officers attached to Murray River Police District were notified and commenced an investigation.

As inquiries continue, police urge anyone with information to come forward and call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
