Police are appealing for information after a vehicle theft in the state's west overnight.
Officers attached to Barrier Police District were told a Mitsubishi Triton bearing Victorian registration TONK12, had been stolen from Mildura in Victoria, on Thursday 29 August 2025.
About 3am today (September 1 2025) the vehicle was observed travelling in Blende Street, Broken Hill. Police activated warning lights, but the vehicle failed to stop, and a pursuit was initiated.
The pursuit continued through the Broken Hill area for approximately 25 minutes before police lost sight of the vehicle.
