Appeal for dashcam footage over two-vehicle crash at Jamberoo

Police are appealing for dashcam footage as they continue to investigate a two-vehicle crash in the state's Southern Tablelands, which left a motorcyclist seriously injured.

Just after 2pm on Saturday 6 July 2019, emergency services were called to the intersection of Churchill Street and Jamberoo Mountain Road, Jamberoo, after a Mitsubishi Pajero and motorcycle collided.

The motorcyclist, a 56-year-old man, suffered internal and head injuries as well as fractures to both his legs. He was flown to St George Hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.

The driver of the Mitsubishi, a 44-year-old man, was not injured and was taken to Wollongong Hospital for mandatory testing.

Officers from the Crash Investigation Unit commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

As their inquiries continue, investigators wish to speak with anyone with dashcam vision of the incident or any witnesses who did not speak with police at the scene to come forward.
