Appeal for info after theft of crocodiles "Snap and Crackle", NSW

Police are appealing for public assistance following the theft of two crocodiles from a mobile zoo in Sydney’s south west, NSW Police say.

Officers were called to a mobile zoo on George Crescent, Sandy Point, about 5.30pm yesterday, after staff discovered the crocodiles missing.

The two crocodiles named, "Snap and Crackle", were taken from their enclosure, with no signs of forced entry.

The crocodiles are described as being approximately 80-100 centimetres long, age not known.

Police hold concerns for the crocodiles, as they need to be in a controlled environment otherwise it is unlikely they will survive.

Police investigations into the theft are continuing and police would like to speak to anyone with information to call police via Crime Stoppers.
