Appeal for info over armed robbery near Lismore, NSW

Police are appealing for public assistance following an armed robbery at a property in the state’s north this afternoon, NSW Police say.

About 2.30pm (Wednesday 9 May 2018), police have been told a woman, armed with a knife, broke into a property in Arthur Road at Corndale, about 17km north of Lismore.

The woman stole personal property and attempted to steal a car before fleeing the scene.

No one was injured.

Officers from Richmond Police District have established a crime scene and are investigating.

Investigators wish to speak with a woman who may be able to assist with their inquiries.

She has been described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, with black hair, and was last seen wearing a black one-piece swimsuit and a brown shirt.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Lismore Police Station or Crime Stoppers.
