Appeal for info over home invasion in Willmot

Police are appealing for public assistance following an aggravated break and enter in Sydney’s west overnight, NSW Police say.

About 12.30am (Tuesday 6 February 2018), emergency services were called to a home in Roebuck Crescent, Willmot, following reports a man had been assaulted.

On arrival, officers from Mt Druitt Local Area Command located a 32-year-old man with two large wounds to his head.

He was taken to Nepean Hospital in a stable condition.

Police have been told a group of men – armed with an iron bar, a knife and a machete – forced their way into the property and assaulted the man before stealing his phone, car keys and wallet.

Investigators are urging anyone with information to come forward.
