Police have released an image of a man who may be able to assist with investigations into a robbery with violence in Warana on July 27, Queensland Police say.
At about 10.15pm a man attended a private residence in Oceanic Drive in company with the 53-year-old occupant.
The man struck the 53-year-old to the face before producing a knife and stealing a sum of money from him.
The man has then barricaded the occupant in a room before stealing a laptop and games console and fleeing the scene along Swallow Street.
The man then caught a taxi to a shopping centre in Sippy Downs and was last seen walking in a southerly direction along University Way around 11.50pm.
The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 19-years-old, 180cm tall, fair complexion, short light brown hair, slim to athletic build with a tattoo of 5 lines of cursive writing on his left rib cage. He also had a red and white backpack.
Police are appealing for assistance to identify the man (pictured), as he may be able to assist with the investigation.
