Appeal for witnesses after fatal motorcycle, NSW

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a fatal motorcycle crash on the State’s Central Coast overnight, NSW Police say.

About 10.40pm yesterday (Tuesday 21 November 2017), police believe that a 49-year-old man was riding an unregistered trail bike along Moss Avenue at Toukley.

It appears the motorcycle struck a guard rail, causing the rider to be thrown on to Toukley Beach.

The man was able to crawl back to the road and contact emergency services.

Ambulance paramedics attended the location but were unable to revive the man.

Police attached to Tuggerah Lakes Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

Anyone with information about the crash is urged to contact Tuggerah Lakes LAC or Crime Stoppers.
