Appeal for witnesses following Nunawading collision

Nunawading Highway Patrol Unit officers are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Nunawading this morning, Victoria Police say.

It is alleged a white Ford Falcon sedan was travelling south on Springvale Road when it clipped another car about 1.10am.

The driver of the Falcon allegedly lost control and crashed into a pole between Beryl Street and Lindsay Avenue.

The passenger from the Falcon, a 34-year-old Nunawading man was taken to hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the Falcon, a 22-year-old Broadmeadows man, was arrested and later released without charge.

The two occupants of the other vehicle were not injured in the collision.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or the Ford Falcon prior to the incident and are urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.
