Appeal for witnesses over suspicious house fire in Greenacre

Police are investigating a suspicious fire at a property in Sydney’s south-west overnight, NSW Police say.

Just after midnight (Tuesday 26 December 2017), emergency services were called to Valencia Street, Greenacre, following reports a house was well alight.

No one was inside at the time and no one was injured.

Police from Bankstown Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

The cause of the fire is yet to be determined and has been examined by fire investigators.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time to come forward.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
