Appeal for witnesses to man's death to come forward, SA

Detectives from Eastern Adelaide CIB are appealing for three witnesses to a death to come forward, according to SA Police.

Just before 5.30am on Sunday 10 December, patrols and ambulance crews were called to Hindley Street, near the intersection of Morphett Street after reports of a group fighting.

A 22-year-old man from Glandore was treated at the scene by paramedics but sadly died.

A 20-year-old Kingswood man was arrested a short time later and charged with manslaughter. Detectives are now preparing for the trial and are seeking assistance from the public.

Three women passing by in a taxi may have witnessed the fight. The trio were dropped off in the Glenelg area, but police have been unable to identify them.
