Appeal for witnesses to Pennington robbery, SA

About 3.15am on Monday 29 August, two men armed with firearms broke into the Grand Junction Tavern, Grand Junction Road, Pennington, shortly after closing time. They threatened staff and made off with two cash boxes. The suspects left in a dark Holden sedan, driven by a third person, according to SA Police.

Fortunately, staff were not physically injured during the hold-up.

A 24-year-old Munno Para man, a 23-year-old Salisbury East man and a 25-year-old Parafield Gardens woman were arrested and charged with aggravated robbery and firearms offences.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who may have been in the vicinity of the Grand Junction Tavern at the time.
