Appeal for witnesses – traffic crash in Tingalpa, QLD

Police investigating a traffic crash in Tingalpa last week are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward, Queensland Police say.

Around 6.30pm on Thursday, November 10 a cyclist was travelling east on Wynnum Road when hit by a vehicle at the intersection with Hemmant-Tingalpa Road.

The vehicle collided with the 33-year-old male cyclist, knocking him onto the road before leaving the scene.

The cyclist sustained minor injuries and his bicycle received major damage.

The car is described as an older model red sedan.

Anyone with further information or who may have dash cam footage of the incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
