Police are appealing for witnesses to a fatal traffic incident that occurred at Sunnybank yesterday morning to contact police, Queensland Police say.
Initial investigations indicate at about 2am, a man standing on Beenleigh Road came in contact with a dark coloured sedan that was travelling east.
The man did not appear to suffer any injuries however was struck by a truck a short time later and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Police are appealing to any members of the public who witnessed the incident to come forward. In particular, they would like to speak with the driver of the dark coloured sedan who witnessed the actions of the man prior to being struck by the truck.
