Appeal to identify knife wielding man in Fairfield - PTC South/South West

Investigators are appealing for information after a man was seen with a knife outside a railway station in Fairfield.

Police have been told about 12.15pm on Thursday 21 March 2019, a man was seen walking outside Fairfield Railway Station holding a knife.

The incident was not reported to police until today (Wednesday 27 March 2019), and officers from the Police Transport Command, South/ South West sector have commenced an investigation.

Officers would like to speak with a man who may be able to assist with inquires.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, of thin build, with a blond ponytail.

The man was wearing blue and white shorts, a black/grey jumper, with a black hat and black joggers.
