Appeal to locate missing 80-year-old Albion Park man, NSW

The family of a missing 80-year-old Albion Park man have asked police for help to locate him, NSW Police say.

About 10am today Ross Cryer was last seen leaving his Albion Park home by family members.

After he did not return home, Mr Cryer’s family reported him missing to police at Lake Illawarra Local Area Command.

Police, along with Mr Cryer’s family, hold grave concerns for his welfare as he suffers from a number of medical conditions, some of which require him to receive regular medication.

When last seen he was riding a blue mountain bike with a basket on the back. Mr Cryer has been known to frequent the Croome Road sporting complex area.

Mr Cryer is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 60cm tall, medium build and with grey hair.

When he was last seen, Mr Cryer was wearing a cream and black cap with a cream peak, a blue and white flannelette check shirt, blue denim jeans and joggers. He was carrying a beige jacket with him.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
