Appeal to locate missing woman - Merrylands

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from her Merrylands West home overnight.

Beverley Silk, aged 82, was last seen during the day on Sunday 12 May 2019 at her Barcom Street residence.

Her absence was noticed about 8.30pm yesterday and police were notified.

Serious concerns are held for her welfare as she requires a walking frame.

Officers from Cumberland Police Area Command were notified and have been searching overnight.

Beverley is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 150cm tall, of slim build with short grey hair.

She was last seen wearing a purple long sleeved top, navy pants and purple boots/shoes.

Beverley is believed to have her red walking frame and handbag with her.
