APRA Halts Multiple Ad Hoc Data Collections

The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) has announced it is ceasing several of its ad hoc data collections for authorised deposit-taking institutions (ADIs). This includes several COVID-19-associated collections.

APRA will continue to regularly appraise its individual data collections to ensure they meet supervisory purposes.

APRA values industry feedback and will continue to look for ways to simplify and automate its data collection process.

The letter to ADIs is available on the APRA website at: Ceasing several ad hoc data collections.
