Armed person appeal in Slacks Creek and Loganholme, QLD

Detectives investigating two incidents outside businesses in Slacks Creek and Loganholme yesterday have released images of a man who may be able to assist, Queensland Police say.

Shortly after 12.30pm, a man armed with two knives approached the front glass doors of a business in Springlands Drive, Slacks Creek.

The man tried to open the front glass doors of the premises but was unable to gain access as they were locked.

He then gestured in a threatening manner towards several staff members inside before fleeing the area on foot.

Around 1.13pm, the same man was seen in Bryants Road outside the Logan Hyperdome with the knives prompting members of the public to call police.

Police attended but were unable to locate the man during patrols.

He is described as being Caucasian in appearance, around 185cm tall with a heavy build and dark brown hair.

No one was physically injured.

Anyone with information which could assist with this matter are urged to contact police.

Investigations are continuing.
