Armed robbery and Unlawful Use of a Motor Vehicle at Kingston

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a home at Kingston in the early hours of this morning, during which a car was stolen.

Around 4.30am, three men armed with a baseball bat and knife, forced entry to a home on Eridani Avenue via the back window and stole three mobile phones, an iPad and keys to the family's car.

The men then fled the scene in the car, which is described as a silver 2011 Nissan Dualis hatchback, bearing the Queensland registration "588 RUZ", similar to the one pictured.

The 38-year-old male occupant, his 31-year-old wife and their four children aged 4-years through to 10-years old were not injured during the incident.

The men had their faces covered throughout the incident and were described as wearing all black clothing and gloves.

Investigations continue.
