Armed robbery appeal at Caboolture

Detectives are appealing for dashcam vision following the armed robbery of a Caboolture supermarket overnight (May 20).

Around 8pm a man armed with what appeared to be a handgun, possibly a toy, entered the McKean Street business and threatened the 22-year-old attendant, demanding they put cigarettes and cash into a dark coloured pillowcase.

He complied and the man fled with a sum of money and tobacco products.

The attendant was not injured.

The man was last seen fleeing east on McKean Street.

Investigators are particularly appealing for anyone who may have dashcam around McKean Street and surrounding areas between 7.45pm and 8.15pm to come forward.

Inquiries are continuing.
