Armed Robbery Appeal At Mount Pleasant

Police are investigating following an armed robbery at Mount Pleasant on 5 January.

At approximately 11.10pm, two male offenders allegedly exited a small black vehicle on the corner of Charles Hodge Avenue and Malcomson Street and approached a man on an e-scooter.

The offenders, who were not known to the victim, assaulted the man and attempted to steal the e-scooter before one male offender produced a knife and threatened the victim.

The victim was able to flee the scene on his e-scooter and sustained minor injuries.

Anyone with information, or relevant vision from the area at the time of the incident, is urged to contact Police.

Investigations are ongoing.
