Armed Robbery Appeal, Lota

Police have released images and are appealing for information after a 36-year-old man was threatened and had his vehicle stolen outside a fitness centre in Lota this morning, June 18

Initial investigations indicate shortly before 4am the man was confronted by a male offender outside the Railway Terrace premises.

The male threatened the man and demanded keys, stealing a grey 2017 Volkswagen POLO hatch with Queensland rego ZZD750.

Police believe a man described as of Caucasian appearance and last seen wearing a black hoodie while driving a Volkswagen Polo may be able to assist investigations.

The stolen vehicle was at last sighted at 9.15am this morning on Wondall Road, Wynnum. The registration plates have been removed.

Anyone with information regarding the man's identity, including CCTV or dashcam footage of the area around this time, is urged to contact police.
