Armed robbery appeal, South Toowoomba

Police are appealing for public assistance in relation to an armed robbery at South Toowoomba earlier this month.

At approximately 5.45pm on Thursday November 10, a 12-year-old boy was riding his white Tourex bike (pictured below) at a park on Hume Street when he was approached by four teenagers.

One person in the group produced a knife and demanded the boy get off his bike.

The boy complied and the group took the bike and walked down an alleyway toward South Street. No one was injured in the incident.

The teenagers are believed to be between the ages of 13 and 17-years-old. The one that presented the knife is believed to have been wearing a full faced beanie and red shoes.

Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward. Anyone who recognises the bike is also urged to contact police.
