Armed robbery at Bracken Ridge, QLD

Police are investigating the overnight robbery of a restaurant at Bracken Ridge, Queensland Police say.

Around 9pm last night, two men armed with a knife and machete entered a Gawain Road business threatening a male employee before fleeing with cash.

The first suspect is described as Aboriginal or Torres Straight Islander in appearance, aged in his late teens to early twenties, of average build.

The second suspect is described as Aboriginal or Torres Straight Islander in appearance, aged in his late teens to early twenties, of solid build, with a beard and moustache.

The employee, a 28-year-old man, was not physically injured.

Police investigations are continuing.
